Bridgnorth YFC Logosocial life at the BYFC

Welcome to Bridgnorth & District YFC

Bridgnorth & District YFC is a rural social group of 16 - 30 year olds from all walks of life. Although we are affiliated to both the Shropshire and National Federations of YFCs, we are a club for everyone, not just farming people!

In the last few years, the Club has grown from strength to strength. Membership has almost tripled, rising from 21 members in 1999 to almost 60 in 2003, and stabilising to around 40 - 45 members now. During that time, over £20,000 has been raised for charity.

We meet on Monday nights and our activities include speakers, visits, quizzes and sports (skiing, ice skating, canoeing, laser quest, archery, ten pin bowling, football, hockey, netball etc.). General meetings are held on the 1st Monday of every month at Swancote Country Club.

In addition to our weekly meetings, the club enters competitions and enjoys a very active social life.
